Our Team

We're proud to be led by a team of four dedicated founders, each bringing their unique skills and experiences to the table. Three of our founders have spent years working in the disability sector, starting as support workers and progressing to leadership roles. Their hands-on experience and deep understanding of the sector enable us to deliver support services that are truly person-centered. Our fourth founder brings a strong finance and accounting background from the banking industry, ensuring our organization is built on a foundation of financial stability and sustainability. What's more, three of our founders are local Broome residents, giving us a deep connection to the community we serve. We're passionate about working together to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities in the Kimberley region.

Our Support Workers

At Kimberley Disability Support, our support workers are the heart of our organization. We're proud to have a team of dedicated, local support workers who understand the Kimberley region, its people, and its culture. Our workers are:

- Local experts: They know the region, culture and value the people, ensuring that our support is tailored to the unique needs of our participants.
- Trained and certified: Our support workers are fully trained in the NDIS Code of Conduct and Safeguarding, as well as certified in manual handling, medications, and infection control. This ensures that our participants receive high-quality, safe, and respectful support.
- Matched to you: We believe that everyone is unique, and that's why we match our support workers to our participants based on their individual preferences. Whether it's gender, language, personality, or skills, we're committed to finding the perfect match for you.
